Free shipping rewards exchange a fixed number of points for a unique Shopify discount code. You choose where the code works and can exclude shipping rates above a maximum amount.
When a customer redeems, NASP Rewards creates a Free shipping code discount in Shopify and gives the code to that customer. Your team can review the issued discount under Shopify Admin → Discounts.
Create the rule
- In Redemption rules, choose Create redemption rule.
- Choose Free shipping.
- Enter a clear Reward title and the Points required.
- Under Countries, choose All countries or Selected countries.
- Optional: exclude shipping rates over a Maximum shipping price.
- Set any minimum purchase, combination, validity, and discount tag options.
- Review the preview, then save.
Choose shipping destinations
When you choose Selected countries, NASP Rewards shows destinations from the shipping zones already configured in Shopify. Select the countries where the reward should work. Rest of world is available when your Shopify shipping setup includes that zone.
A selected country must remain in a Shopify shipping zone when the customer redeems. Review your redemption rule after changing shipping zones so the destinations stay aligned.
Limit the shipping rate
Turn on Exclude shipping rates over a certain amount when you want to cover standard shipping without covering more expensive rates. Enter the maximum shipping price the reward can discount. Rates above that amount remain ineligible.
Minimum purchase and combinations
The rule can have no minimum, a minimum order subtotal, or a minimum number of items.
Free shipping rewards can combine with order and product discounts when you enable those options. Shopify does not allow one free shipping reward to combine with another shipping discount, so NASP Rewards does not offer that combination.
The Validity period starts when the customer redeems. Leave it blank for no
expiry. Optional Discount tags help you find the generated discounts in
Shopify Admin; NASP Rewards also adds its own nasp-rewards tag.
What the customer receives
After confirmation, NASP Rewards deducts the fixed points cost and creates a code for that customer and one checkout use. The customer sees it on the progress page and can copy it later from Your rewards. Staff using Shopify POS apply the displayed code at checkout.
