Documentation
Start with the NASP Rewards docs for setup, rules, customer points, Shopify POS, refunds, and redemption review.
Getting started
- Configure points for purchases, then turn on any Welcome Gift, email, birthday, or visit rewards you want to offer.
- Create one or more redemption rules for Store Credit, product or order discounts, Buy X get Y, or free shipping.
- Use the NASP Rewards dashboard to watch activity and items that need attention.
- Customers claim available activities and redeem from the Rewards page in their Shopify account. In store, staff choose from the same active redemption offers in Shopify POS.
Shopify POS
After installing NASP Rewards, open Sales channels → Point of Sale → Settings. Under Customization, choosePOS app, then choose Apps - the four-squares button. Turn on Customer Rewards and save. No smart grid tile is required. Staff can then open a customer in Shopify POS to see their points balance. When they have enough points, chooseRedeem, select an offer, and confirm it. Apply Store Credit with Shopify's cart action, or apply the displayed discount code at checkout.
Follow Use rewards in Shopify POS for the complete staff workflow and troubleshooting.
Points and refunds
Points are available as soon as a successful payment is processed. When Shopify reports a refund, NASP Rewards reverses as many related points as the customer's available balance allows. The balance never falls below zero.
If the full amount cannot be reversed, unrecovered points remain visible as an audit record.
Redemption review
If Store Credit needs review, inspect the customer's store credit transactions in Shopify and restore points only after confirming that no matching credit exists. When a discount request has an unknown outcome, NASP Rewards checks Shopify for the exact reserved code. Do not create the discount again or adjust points while that check is in progress.
Manual adjustments
Open Customers, select a customer, then adjust points. Every adjustment requires a reason and is permanently recorded in the customer's activity.
Billing
Plans and charges are managed through Shopify App Pricing. If something looks wrong with your subscription, check Shopify's billing UI first, then email us with your shop domain.
What to include
Send your Shopify shop domain, what you expected, and what happened. Screenshots and relevant order or customer references help us investigate redemption and refund cases.
