Custom Reward redemption rules

Understand how existing merchant-fulfilled rewards are recorded and completed.

Custom Reward is not available for new setup

NASP Rewards no longer shows Custom Reward in the redemption rule chooser or rule list. This page remains available for stores with historical Custom Reward redemptions.

A Custom Reward exchanges a fixed number of points for a benefit fulfilled by the merchant. It does not create store credit or a Shopify discount code.

How existing redemptions work

When a customer confirms a Custom Reward, NASP Rewards deducts the fixed point cost and records the benefit. The customer sees that benefit on the progress page and in Your rewards.

The redemption appears in Activity as Pending fulfilment. Open its redemption review after your team has provided the benefit, enter a fulfilment note, and choose Mark as fulfilled. The note stays in the merchant audit trail and is not shown to the customer.

What remains in history

Historical Custom Reward redemptions keep their customer-facing title, benefit, point cost, redemption date, and fulfilment record. Removing the live setup surface does not rewrite those records or return points from completed claims.

If an existing Custom Reward needs attention and you cannot reach its redemption review from Activity, contact NASP Rewards support with your shop domain and the approximate redemption time.
